Introduction | 9,10-dihydro -9-oxa -10-phosphazene -10-oxide is also called 9,10-dihydro -9-oxa -10-phosphazene -10-oxide (DOPO), which is an important new reactive phosphorus-containing flame retardant. The flame retardants synthesized by DOPO and its derivatives have the characteristics of high efficiency, halogen-free, smokeless, non-toxic, non-migration, and long-lasting flame retardancy. |
application | DOPO can be used for flame retardant of various polymer materials, such as linear polyester, epoxy resin, bismaleimide, etc., and is widely used for flame retardant of electronic, synthetic fiber, semiconductor packaging materials, etc. At the same time, DOPO and its derivatives can also be used for chemical modification of polymer materials due to their special functions. In addition, DOPO can also be used as insecticide, fungicide, curing agent, antioxidant, stabilizer, photoinitiator, binder, blocking agent for harmful metal ions, light color agent for organic matter, and ultraviolet light absorber. |
prepare | OPP(200g,1.175mol) and anhydrous zinc chloride (1.6g,0.0115mol) are added to a four-mouth bottle, and phosphorus trichloride (113mL,1.292mol) is added dropwise within 3 hours at 70 ℃; After dropping, the temperature is raised to 180 ℃, the temperature is kept for 10 hours, and phosphorus trichloride (20.5mL,0.234mol) is added uniformly during the period, until no HCl gas is released, a reaction solution containing the intermediate CDOP is obtained. The reaction solution is cooled to 90±2 ℃, the feed solution is released into a solution composed of sodium hydroxide (140.4g,3.51mol) and water (560mL), cooled to 40±2 ℃, stirred for 1h, and filtered. The filtrate is adjusted to pH = 1.0 with hydrochloric acid produced in the first step reaction, stirred at 40±2 ℃ for 3 hours, crystallized solid, pumped and filtered, and washed three times (200mL × 3) with distilled water. The solid is dissolved in toluene (400mL), refluxed for 1h, cooled to room temperature, crystallized, and filtered to obtain hydrolysate HPPA. The obtained HPPA was heated to 150°C and distilled under vacuum for 0.5h at a vacuum of ≥ 30mmHg to obtain the target product DOPO(231g,92%). The purity is 99.2%(HPLC). |
